1994 Kazakhstan Premier League

Kazakhstan Top Division 1994 was the third edition of Kazakhstan Premier League. ^[1]

Promotion and relegation of 1993 season

No new teams were accepted to the league

Eight teams were relegated at the end of last season:

• FC Karachaganak
• FC Namys
• FC Dinamo
• FC Dostyk
• FC Yenbek
• FC Azhar
• FC Munaishy
• FC Kaisar

and

• FC Dostyk withdrew at the start

Club name changes

At the start of season:
FC Spartak became FC Yelimay,
FC Tselinnik became FC Tsesna

League Format

It was decided to decrease the number of teams from 25 to 17. With a withdrawal of FC Dostyk it became 16. Teams played against each other on home-away basis.
